v2.1.0

A new version has been released on the market and looking at initial reports, it looks like those launch-bugs have finally been fixed! Now I can concentrate on added the time/location/live mode functionality I promised.

Will update as soon as I've tested the modifications.

Thanks all for bearing with me on all of this :-)

  2. Thanks for the fix, now the app doesn't crash anymore. But I just found another problem:
The sun's declination at the moment is reported as -7. That's completely wrong. Looking at the planets their positions seem to be wrong as well.
As far as I can see there's no option to set the date, so I assume that "now" is displayed. But the positions don't seem to be calculated for "now"...

  3. Hi - What time zone are you in and what's your location? I'm currently testing the new time and location enhancements which has indeed threw up some inaccuracies re planetary positions so I really need to take a look at the calculations again. I'll post an update as soon as I know more!

  5. Same here. The stars seem to be 3 ours ahead, and the planet are way off. I'm in Denmark UTC+1. Otherwise its looking good.

  6. The planetary positions are not correct. Also can you expand the seep sky database. All astronomy apps have Messier or less and that is it. Need to add the NGC database at minimum or better yet the SAC database. Palm in 2002 had much better astronomy apps then what is currently available for Android and Android is a much better system.
